On Friday (5/12/23), the MSHS Girls Track & Field Team traveled to compete in the Negaunee Lions Invitational. Nine schools participated in the event that produced a highly competitive field for U.P. teams.
In the midst of the competition, senior Julia Ott set a new school record in the high jump when she cleared 5’5″. Ott’s jump bested the previous record that was set by Katie Miller in 1977.

The team will next be in action on Monday, May 15, when they compete in the Marquette County Championships hosted by Westwood High School. Field events will begin at 3:30 p.m. with running events starting at 3:45 p.m.
