The MSHS Gymnastics team hosted the Marquette Invitational on Wednesday evening (1/4/23).  Escanaba, Negaunee and Superior 7 were all in attendance to take part in the competition that was held inside the Barb Crill Gymnasium.  Overcoming injuries and illness, Marquette placed third in the team competition and posted a team score of 109.85.

Helana Sharp led MSHS placing in the Top-10 in every event (Vault – 4th, Bars – 2nd, Floor – 6th, Beam – 8th, All-Around – 3rd).  Anabel Ollila (Vault  – 7th, Floor – 7th, All-Around – 9th) and Linda Albro (Bars -10th, Beam – 10th) were also top performers for the team.

All competing Marquette gymnasts earned season high and/or qualifying scores.  Below are performers posting season high (denoted with “^”) and/or MHSAA Regional qualifying (denoted with “*”) scores.
