Gymnastics Qualifies for MHSAA Regional Meet After Defeating Negaunee

The MSHS Gymnastics Team had their best showing of the season on Monday evening (2/17/20), beating Negaunee 130.150 to 107.175.  Marquette’s team score of 130.150 was also the final team score needed to qualify for the group for the MHSAA Regional Meet.

Having a lengthy break from competition prior to the meet helped the MSHS gymnasts add difficulty to their routines as well as providing an opportunity to polish their existing skills.  The end result was higher event scores for all student-athletes that helped them attain their regional qualifying scores and/or personal bests.
