Varsity Baseball Defeats Kingsford 4-2; Advances To Host District Semifinal/Final On Saturday

The MSHS Varsity Baseball Team snagged a late lead and defeated Kingsford 4-2 on Tuesday in an MHSAA District Quarterfinal game in the 2021 Division 2 Baseball Tournament.

Up Next:

  • Following this evening’s win, MSHS will now play host to the district semifinal and championship games.  Those games will be played on Saturday, June 5 from Haley Field in Marquette.  Marquette will take on Sault Ste. Marie in the first semifinal at 10:00 a.m.  Escanaba will then play Cheboygan at 12:00 p.m. in the second semifinal game.  The championship game will follow with a 3:00 p.m. start time.
