The MSHS Varsity Boys Soccer team continued their winning ways on Thursday night when they defeated Iron Mountain 8-0 at the Kaufman Sports Complex in Marquette.

First half goal scorers with assists were Max Dawson from Michael Poggi, Dawson from Ethan Sandstrom, Ezra Pickard from Grant Salo, Axel Vermaat from John Weber, Enzo Stabile from Vermaat.  Harrison Anthos tended net making three saves.

Second half goal scorers were Zane Phillips from Pickard, Sandstrom from Evan Sysko, and Kaleb Chipelewski from Pickard.  Isaac Johnson tended net in the second half facing two shots.

  • “Our team played good ball tonight. Iron Mountain played hard right to the end and kept fighting so we had to remain vigilant”
