The MSHS Varsity Girls Soccer Team (4-0-2) hosted Sault Ste. Marie on Monday evening (5/2/22) and shut out the Blue Devils by a final score of 5-0.

Junior Bella Lorens posted a hat trick with three goals in the first 15-minutes of the contest to get MSHS off to a strong start.

Junior Hailey Ridolphi then posted a goal just before halftime to give the Redettes a 4-0 advantage at the break.

Closing things out with just under five minutes remaining in the game was junior Hattie Britton when she buried a shot in the back of the net for the 5-0 final score.

• The MSHS Varsity Girls Soccer team will now use the remainder of the week to prepare for Saturday’s (5/7/22) tournament in Petoskey.
