The MSHS Varsity Girls Soccer team hosted the U.P. Girls Soccer Championships on Saturday, 5/20/23, at the Kaufman Sports Complex in Marquette. Teams competing in the tournament included Houghton, Iron Mountain, Kingsford, Marquette Varsity, Marquette JV and Sault Ste. Marie.
After defeating Houghton in semifinal contest by a score of 6-1, the team captured their second straight U.P. title when they won the 2023 U.P. Championship by defeating rival Kingsford 1-0 in the event final.
