The MSHS Varsity Girls Soccer Team (10-1-4) traveled to Iron Mountain on Wednesday evening (5/18/22) for the first meeting between the two teams this season.

The MSHS offense showed no signs of slowing down after last weekend’s win at the Waupaca Invite and Monday’s tie with Kingsford as they overpowered the Mountaineers by a final margin of 4-1.

Hailey Ridolphi led the way for Marquette with a hat trick in the contest.  One of those tallies was unassisted with Addie Ollila and Tiffany Ridolphi providing assists on the others.

Alyson McCarthy also scored in the game on a goal assisted by Hannah Mason.

• Wednesday’s game marks the final contest before this Saturday’s (5/21/22) U.P. Girls Soccer Tournament that will be held at the Kaufman Sports Complex.  Tournament games will begin at 10:00 a.m.
