Varsity Hockey (12-1-1; 5-1 Great Lakes Hockey Conference)
The MSHS Varsity Hockey team earned two victories over the visiting Bay Area Reps at Lakeview Arena this weekend (January 7-8). In Friday evening’s contest, MSHS notched a 5-0 shutout win. The team then followed that up with a 7-3 victory on Saturday afternoon.
The Bay Area Reps are an MHSAA co-op team consisting of student-athletes from Elk Rapids, Kalkaska, Kingsley, Lake Leelaunau St.Mary’s, Mancelona and Traverse City-St. Francis high schools.

- The MSHS Varsity Hockey Team will be on the road next weekend (January 14-15) when they travel to Traverse City to compete in a pair of games at the North/South Showcase. Marquette will first take on Livonia Stevenson on Friday, January 14, in a contest starting at 6:00 p.m.
