2021-22 MHSHCA All-State Hockey Teams Released; MSHS Has Seven Honored

On Monday evening, the Michigan High School Hockey Coaches Association (MHSHCA) released the All-State hockey teams for the 2021-22 season.

Following a campaign that saw the team earn a share of the Great Lakes Hockey Conference title and spot in the semifinals of the MHSAA Division 2 Hockey Tournament, MSHS was well represented with seven total honorees.

Junior forward Jacob Garrow and senior defenseman Brayden Grange were named to the All-State First Team.

Recognize on the All-State Second Team from MSHS were sophomore goaltender Wylen Cambensy, senior forward Drew Dellies and junior defenseman Joe DeMattia.

Freshman forward Kody Moyer was named to both the All-State Second Team as well as the All-State Freshman Team.

Lastly, Head Coach Doug Garrow was named as the state’s Coach of the Year for Division 2.
