From MSHS Girls Tennis Head Coach, Karl Thomsen:
- “There were some real good battles up on the Ishpeming courts today. The number one singles match was tops on that list. Kaia and Ella put on quite the show for the fans, a lot of long rallies and quality shots. I was also happy to see our girls continue to improve on the strategy side of things. I thought the team of Sophie Krysmalski and Lyndsey Lake did a wonderful job of communicating and closing out points at the net. On the singles side of things, Annabella Martinson did a great job of adjusting to her opponent’s ground strokes and turned things around for a nice victory. We will need that kind of tennis I.Q. heading into the conference tournament next week.”
