Marquette 8, Escanaba-Bayside 0

The Marquette Varsity Boys Soccer Team traveled to Escanaba Thursday night for a game against the Bayside Soccer Club.  The game ended in a 8-0 Marquette victory in a shortened contest.

Goal scorers for Marquette were sophomore Nick Asmus from sophomore Max Dawson, sophomore Ezra Pickard from junior John Weber, senior Connor Johnson from Asmus, Pickard from junior Enzo Stabile, senior Lewis Goff from junior Nick Lindberg, Stabile from freshmen Ethan Sandstrom, sophomore Evan Sysco unassisted, and Sandstrom unassisted.

Senior Liam Jeevar tended net facing one shot.

From Head Coach Dan Salmon:

“We did a good job spreading the ball around tonight with seven different goal scorers.  Now we need to carry the momentum into the Kingsford game next week.”

The Varsity Boys Soccer Team will be on the road once more when they travel to Kingsford to take on the Flivers on Tuesday, September 8.  Kickoff is scheduled for 6:00 p.m. EST.
