Varsity Boys Soccer Overpowers Iron Mountain, 6-0

The MSHS Varsity Boys Soccer team hosted Iron Mountain at the Kaufman Sports Complex this evening (8/30/23).  Marquette won the game by a final score of 6-0.

  • First Half:  During the first half of action, MSHS saw goals scored by Kaleb Chipelewski (assisted by Seamus Waite) and Ethan Sandstrom (assisted by Charlie Hrodey).
  • Second Half:   In the game’s second half, Marquette had goals turned in by Kaleb Chipelewski (assisted by Dixon Poggi), Charlie Hrodey (assisted by Kaleb Chipelewski), Kaleb Chipelewski (assisted by Andy Brunswick) and Kaleb Chipelewski (converted penalty kick).  MSHS goalkeeper Edan Hautamaki faced one shot in the first half and three shots in the second half in the net to earn four total saves in the contest.

  • “Our defense played quite well tonight especially Dixon Poggi. On the offensive side, Kaleb Chipelewski turned in a very dominant performance with four goals and an assist.”
