On Wednesday afternoon, the MSHS varsity girls tennis team won the 2019 Division 1 U.P. Championship.
Team Results:
- Marquette – 17 points
- Negaunee – 10 points
- Menominee – 7 points
- Escanaba – 6 points
- Kingsford – 6 points
- Gladstone – 3 points
The Redettes were paced by the performances of the following student-athletes who took home U.P. Championships in their respective flights:
- Elysa Olivier – 1st Place at #1 Singles
- Mollie Kilpela – 1st Place at #2 Singles
- Zoey Brian & Ruth Hummell – 1st Place at #3 Doubles
- Julianna Golisek & Alyson LaBelle – 1st Place at #4 Doubles
