From MSHS Girls Tennis Head Coach, Karl Thomsen:
- “Negaunee is always a great litmus test for us, especially early on in the year. I saw a lot of good stuff from our girls yesterday, specifically how our #4 doubles team (Lyndsey Lake and Delana Sprowl) closed out balls at the net. On the other hand, we had some chances to close out sets and matches that we were not able to take advantage of. Improving in this area is going to be a must, if we want to be in the mix at the end of September. There’s no doubt in my mind that the girls will learn from yesterday’s matches and respond to these situations in the future.”
