2023 All-U.P. Football Awards Announced; Eight Total Receive Accolades With Dasan Smith Named U.P.’s “Lineman of the Year”

The 2023 All-Upper Peninsula Football Awards were announced on Monday (November 13) and MSHS had eight total student-athletes receive honors from the Upper Peninsula Sportswriters and Sportscasters Association for their play on the field this season.

In all, Marquette had two on the All-U.P. “Dream Team”, one on the All-U.P. First Team, three receive Special Mention and two receive Honorable Mention.  In addition, senior offensive lineman Dasan Smith was named as the 2023 Mitchell Snyder U.P.
