On Saturday, December 4, the MSHS Boys Swimming & Diving Team traveled to West Ishpeming to take part in the Westwood Relays. Other participating schools were Ishpeming-Negaunee, Kingsford and host Westwood.
The MSHS Boys claimed first place in seven of eight events on the day for an impressive showing.
Event Winners:
- 200 Medley Relay – Andrew King, Liam McFarren, Colin VanderSchaaf, Maverick Baldwin
- 400 Freestyle Relay – Sevi Voigt, Quinn Kerekes, Andon Buyarski, Alex Gooch
- 200 Backstroke Relay – Ethan Bridges, Edan Hautamaki, Chase Thomsen, Jack Sysko
- 200 Butterfly Relay – Alex Gooch, Kai Chouinard, Sevi Voigt, Liam McFarren
- 200 Breaststroke Relay – Kai Chouinard, Liam Boland, Jake Elzinga, Sevi Voigt
- Mixed 500 Relay – Cindy Duckwall, Maverick Baldwin, Grace Sobczak, Colin VanderSchaaf
- 400 Medley Relay – Liam McFarren, Quinn Kerekes, Andon Buyarski, Andrew King

The team will return to competition on Tuesday, December 7, when they travel to Manistique for a meet starting at 5:00 p.m.
