Varsity Boys Soccer Gets 7-2 Victory At Houghton

MSHS Varsity Boys Soccer (18-2-2)

Marquette 7, Houghton 2

The MSHS Varsity Boys Soccer team traveled to Houghton on Saturday, 10/1/22.

First half goal scorers were Max Dawson (assisted by Isaac Johnson and Evan Sysko), Dawson on a penalty kick, Kaleb Chipelewski (assisted by Dixon Poggi), and Ezra Pickard (assisted by Dawson).

Second half goal scorers were Dawson (assisted by Ethan Sandstrom), Chipelewski (assisted by Cody Struck), Struck (assisted by Ben Wilson and Alexi Caron).

James Barch tended net for MSHS and faced two shots in the first half and four in the second half.  Houghton scored both of their goals in the second half.

  • The Varsity Boys Soccer team will stay on the road for their next contest when they travel to Sault Ste. Marie on Wednesday, 10/5/22.  That game has a 5:00 p.m. start time.
