“Tonight was a big conference win for us. It was a tight match when we played them at Kingsford, so we knew not to underestimate them. Tellena Nystrom had a great passing and digging night, and Maiya King really spread out the offense well. Offensively, that’s the most balanced we’ve been this season. Teams we play often prepare for Seiler Hruska, so having more offensive options with Aspen Michelin and Maria Millado is great. We plan to push hard in preparation for Escanaba next week.”

The MSHS varsity volleyball teams will be back at home next Thursday, September 26, when they host Escanaba in Great Northern Conference action. Freshman/JV matches will start at 5:30 p.m. with the varsity match following at 7:00 p.m.
