“We’ve brought home a few trophies this season and we’re proud of all of them, but the conference championship feels like the first major milestone in terms of our team goals. We went in knowing Esky would be hungry for a win. My joke all week was that I don’t like to share. We had a game plan going in and the girls implemented that plan to a T. They also passed well and played some really scrappy defense. We aren’t ready to be done yet, so it’s back to work tomorrow.”
Next Up:
The varsity volleyball team will now shift its focus to the postseason, where MSHS will receive a first-round bye in district play and await the winner of the Petoskey/Gaylord match on 11/4/19. MSHS will travel to district host Petoskey for the district semifinal match on 11/6/19 at 6:30 p.m.
