Varsity Volleyball Honors Five On “Senior Night”; Defeated By Escanaba, 3-0

Varsity Volleyball (8-20-1; 3-5 Great Northern Conference)

Marquette 0, Escanaba 3 (19-25, 13-25, 10-25)

From Coach Crandell-Williams:

“It was a great night to honor our seniors, and they played tough.  We showed improvements in some areas and served pretty well, but got stuck on our passing game.  Esky has some strong, athletic seniors and they seem to have good chemistry as a team.  It’s a good match to end on going into districts against the Soo, as we will be facing some powerful hitters there as well.”

Team Leaders:

  • Alyson McCarthy – 7 assists, 5 digs
  • Hailey Ridolphi – 9 digs, 2 kills
  • Hetty Fuess – 6 digs, 2 kills
