From Coach Crandell-Williams:
“Manistique has a strong program and they play clean and hard. We knew they had a couple of strong hitters and that we were going to have to work for it. It felt like both teams used a full range of shots and covered the floor well. They had us on the ropes a few times where we had to mentally push through and ended up succeeding, which was great for our girls’ confidence. We will be heading down to Bay City this weekend on a high note.”
Next Up:
The Varsity volleyball team will head downstate this weekend to participate in the Mitten Bay Classic (Bay City, MI). All three MSHS teams will then be in action next Tuesday (9/10/19) when they will travel to Negaunee (match times of 4:30/5:45/7:00 p.m.).
