Varsity Volleyball Wins Fifth Straight With 3-1 Victory Over Houghton

Varsity Volleyball (10-1; 4-0 Great Northern Conference)

Marquette 3, Houghton 1 (25-15, 25-18, 24-26, 25-13)

From Coach Crandell-Williams:

“Tonight I felt like the work our players have been putting in is really paying off.  Our serving was really strong.  Offensively, Seiler (Hruska) had a ton of great swings and Maria (Millado) is really starting to show up in the middle the way we knew she could.  We also had some really scrappy defensive plays at times.  Houghton has a strong team; it was rewarding to play a tough match like that and come out on top.”
